We arrived (with all of our luggage) safely at the Mayfield Guest house in Nairobi at about 10:30 PM Nairobi time last night. That brought about 27 hours of travel to an end. Everything was not "fun" - including having to lug our toddlers through airport security three times - but everything went very smoothly. Isaiah and Nate were awesome travelers. They only complained a little. But they were super travelers overall. We didn't have to pay any extra to American Airlines to check our excess baggage in Omaha. All of your and our prayers have been answered. Thank you Lord!
We slept (mostly) well last night. Isaiah and Nate are sharing a bed for the first time in their lives. We've had good food and met some neat people at the Mayfield Guesthouse. This afternoon, we will go get some money (Kenyan Shillings) do some initial scouting on our shopping items on the list. We are missing our jogging stroller which had to be checked in at the gate in Chicago. Thankfully, it is arriving in Nairobi tonight and we'll have it tomorrow morning.
